Introduction of Improved Access/Egress Security System for the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
An ever-increasing threat and risk of wildlife crime and poaching in the Greater Kruger Area has necessitated that the Timbavati Private Nature in conjunction with the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve and Umbabat Private Game Reserve adopt and upgrade the access and egress security systems to the reserves.
In principle, access/egress to and from the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve will be granted upon absolute verification of a person’s identity.
Visitors and guests to the reserve will need to be pre-authorised by the lodge or camp prior to their arrival.
It is important for pre-authorisation that the following accurate information be supplied to the lodge/camp timeously,
– Persons Name and Surname
– Date of arrival
– Date of departure
– Means of arrival (Self-drive or Transfer)
– Name of Transfer Company
– Passport Numbers / National Identity Numbers (If available)
– Vehicle’s details for Self-drive visitors – Make, Colour & Registration Number (If available)
