It’s just one month now until they welcome their first guests to The Farmstead at Royal Malewane. While the design may be new and exciting, their guests can look forward to the same incredible wildlife experience and the same exceptional service that guests have enjoyed at Royal Malewane for the last 20 years.
“We are extremely excited about the variety of accommodation that The Farmstead will introduce and we look forward to welcoming guests from around the world.” Adriaan Erasmus, General Manager, Royal Malewane.
The Farmstead is also a pioneering community project. The local community should realise the financial gains of conservation in order to see the value in protecting wildlife and the environment. The Farmstead land is leased from the local Moletele community to whom they pay a monthly rent. Not only will they employ and develop members of the community, but at the end of that long lease both the land and the asset will revert to the community.
