Sevruga Restaurant is about to open its doors after the renovations.
Sevruga Restaurant invites you to come and partake in their ever-evolving passion project. Step into a space, where the moment is yours to shape. A delectable seafood and grill menu, with asian fusion flavours at its core, boasting an accompaniment of exquisite summer cocktails and crisp wines. No two visits are the same. Nor should they be.
Situated in the iconic V & A Waterfront, South Africa’s most-visited destination, featuring exquisite panoramic views of the harbour. They are perfectly positioned on the Atlantic shore, allowing guests the opportunity to fill up their itinerary with an array of luxury experiences. Escape the bustling streets of Cape Town with a yacht cruise, a few feet away from the restaurant, and witness the sunset over the beautiful azure waters. Whether you are looking to have a romantic dinner with that special someone or meeting up with family and friends, they promise a first-class experience.
Newly renovated interior offers an inspiring synthesis of old and new. The perfect marriage of traditional fine dining elements with added contemporary detailing and opulent colours, is the result of their new look, that energizes and reinvigorates the classic Sevruga. An intimate indoor seating option, with a magnificent American walnut bar counter and solid wooden floors, are a contrast to their semi-outdoor seating, for more of a relaxed feel, that boasts natural light and outdoor plants. The colour pallet is a refined cool ocean breeze, blended together with satin, earthy tones – all of which accentuates their brand image.
One of the greatest changes they are about to implement upon re-opening is the restaurant concept. Sevruga will no longer promote a fine dining destination. They are planning to debut a hybrid concept with a business model that combines a casual and a fine casual dining. The casual movement has been influenced by consumers looking for a quality food at affordable prices. They decided to utilize this trend and incorporate into their marketing plan. During lunch they will offer a place with a relaxed atmosphere, waiter service and democratic prices. Dinner will still be offering patrons a taste of the fine dining with a white table cloth setting at a lower price. That being said, the food quality and service standards are not intended to drop.
