Coral Lodge, the renown five star beach lodge, near Mozambique Island, the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Mozambique will collaborate with Ecolibri, a leading European, Milan based renewable energy engineering firm, in a pilot project resulting in the installation of innovative micro-wind turbine and solar technology, thereby creating the first ‘offgrid’ renewal energy showcase in Mozambique, Eastern Africa.
Frangipani, the owning company of the lodge will also implement an investment program that will consider the ten beach and lagoon villas, a new beach bar, the social and back-of-house area and a sustainable solution for the dune erosion. The program will be implemented during Quarter 1 2018, the lodge closing on the following dates: Monday 29 January to Friday 16 March 2018.
