I was born and raised in a small town called Clanwilliam, nestled in the heart of the Cederberg.
As a proud South African, growing up in such a culture rich country, I always wanted to pursue a career where I could combine my love for people and culture. I lived in Germany for a year, where I worked and traveled through Europe. Returning to South Africa, I completed my studies at The North West University. I have a degree in Psychology and Tourism Management and completed my Honours Degree, focusing on Tourism satisfaction and preferences. My passion for travel and tourism, encouraged a career in the tourism marketing industry, before joining Tour d’Afrique as a Journey Designer.
I consider myself a nature enthusiast and enjoy hiking in my free time. My two most memorable hikes are The Monk’s Cowl trail in Drakensberg and more local Arangieskop trails in Robertson. Considering South Africa to be one of the most beautiful countries in the world, I find myself privileged to be able to contribute to visitor’s life changing experiences.
