Coral Lodge has announced its closure for renovations as of 01 February 2018, during the Mozambican low season months and have extended their soft re-opening date to 29 March 2018. During this time of closure, the investment plan will include:
- Space planning and interior design enhancements in the Lodge’s main public areas
- Revamping of the walkways throughout the lodge and installation of solar powered ‘designer’ lighting
- Soft-refurbishments of the villas – to be undertaken on a villa by villa basis during the months of April and May
- Preparation work for the micro wind turbine and solar technology pilot projects installation, planned for the 2nd quarter. These projects are the first of their kind in Mozambique and will create a unique renewable energy showcase.
